"Tips and Tricks in the Studio-Fusible Applique"
with Heidi Pridemore of The Whimsical Workshop
6 hour workshop
This workshop is designed to show the any quilter some quick and easy shortcuts to making Fusible Appliqué
quilts. Heidi will show you techniques she uses everyday in The Whimsical Workshop. She will cover tips for
setting up a sewing area, appliqué techniques and finishing. This is an
easy way to create wonderful appliqué quilts. If you can trace and cut and sew, you can do this appliqué technique. Chose from an assortment quilt patterns and/or fabric kits that can be used for the class. (6-hours) (Kits are purchased separately) Trunk shows availble to help promote workshop interest.

will show you techniques she uses everyday in The Whimsical Workshop. She will cover tips for setting up a
sewing area, piecing techniques and finishing techniques. Fabric kits are availble, Heidi will re-create the quilt shown here with current fabrics to create a kit for the class. (6 hours) Trunk shows availble to help promote workshop interest.

fabrics for your next project. With a little bit of knowledge on color, value and pattern, you can pick an exciting
and strong group of fabrics for your next project. Heidi’s full color booklet included with the lecture. (45 min.-1 hr.)

"Color Play Workshop"
with Heidi Pridemore of The Whimsical Workshop
This workshop takes the basics covered in the Color Play lecture and puts it into practice. We will cover picking
fabrics to make a surprise fusible wall quilt. Each student will pick fabrics from our fat quarter selection for their
projects and Heidi will guide the class through making stunning fabric choices for their projects. Students will
leave this class with color confidence. There is a small kit fee per student for the fabric kits. This workshop is available as a 3 hour or 6 hour workshop. Trunk shows are availble to help promote workshop interest.

Come and learn quick and easy hand embroidery stitches while working on a wool wall hanging. Heidi will show
how fun and easy it is to add a little hand stitching to your next project. She will cover Blanket Stitch, French knots,
satin stitching, back stitching and more. She will show you short cuts to transferring designs and cutting templates.
Kits are available with Presencia Pearl Cotton thread kit or without. (3 hours) Trunk are shows availble to help promote workshop interest.

This lecture covers the different techniques and tools used to design jewelry from fabric. Heidi will cover how to
mix materials and fabrics successfully. She will show you pieces she has created for her new book "Fabric Jewelry-Wrapped, Braided and Sewn" as well as her newest jewelry creations. Heidi will talk about steps to designing your own beautiful pieces. (45 min.-1 hr.) This lecture works well with the Fabric Jewelry workshops.

"Creating Stunning Fabric Jewelry Workshop- Available for Quilt Shops and Beading Shops"
with Heidi Pridemore of The Whimsical Workshop
Come and learn the various techniques covered in Heidi’s book, “Fabric Jewelry-Wrapped, Braided and Sewn” along with new techniques she has come up with since writing the book. These workshops are split into two group. One class covers more of the sewing techniques and the second class covers more of the jewelry and beading techniques. This class is offered as both a full day and half-day class. This is also available as a two-day workshop to cover it all.
There is a small supply fee for each student.

with Heidi Pridemore of The Whimsical Workshop
We will take up to 20 students for workshops and unlimited attendance
for lectures. Once a class or workshop is booked, a contract will be sent from The Whimsical Workshop. Heidi will bring an assistant for larger groups and The Whimsical Workshop will pay for their expenses. Shops or Groups will
be responsible for Heidi’s travel and lodging expenses. The Whimsical Workshop will bring a small store of items to sell that will not compete with what the group or store sells. We offer wholesale patterns and trunk shows along with any promotional materials needed to help us both have a successful lecture and/or workshop for your group.
Please call or email Heidi Pridemore if you are interested in scheduling any of the lectures or workshops listed here. Heidi will also create a customized class around any of her books or patterns for your group. We are always happy to schedule a couple of events in your area with other groups and split expenses between the groups for you.
